Double distilled for depth of flavour on copper pot stills, including one of the smallest whiskey stills on the island of Ireland.
Non-chill filtered, all natural colour.
ABV 46%
Tasting Notes:
Nose
Light waves of soft chocolatey peat smoke, with apple blossom and toffee.
Palate
Honeyed malt, green orchard fruits, sweet and smoky, chewy toffee pepper, roasted spices and black forest gateau.
Finish
Sweet soft smoke, chocolate brownies, giving a long rich and oily finish.
A beautiful combination of aromas, with honey, graham cracker, dried orange disc, mild spices, and gentle waves of chocolaty peat smoke. This carries through to the palate with melted milk chocolate, chewy toffee pepper, roasted spices, and black forest gateau, with the peat smoke present in the periphery. Absolutely delicious, this is a great peated Irish whiskey with a moreish finish of chocolate brownies and gentle bonfire smoke.
